Personality: Deja acts very serious at times and very laid back at others. She is quite unpredictable for her powers often affect the way she feels. Sometimes she's known to be cranky from lack of sleep, which is filled with nightly visions of the future. And sometimes she can be very strange to a point where she could cause even the most serious man on earth to laugh uncontrollably.
Appearance: Deja is a female terrier with white fur and black splotches. Her ears are big and droop over her raven colored hair. Her eyes are a deep purple and her muzzle a fluffy white. Her outfit consists of a mid-drift purple bra with a matching skirt. The quarter sleeves are a light maroon colored silk and another form of this fabric hangs from the bra-top and covers her stomach. Her skirt has two crisscrossing belts and her boots crawl up to her knees, being the same purple as the skirt. Her gloves, also the same color, have open fingers which shows her fingers which have naturally black fingernails.
History: One night when Deja's parents were out for their aniverssary, six year-old Deja awoke from a terrible dream. In the dream, a young couple had lost control of their car, and drove right into the side of a semi truck. Neither survived the crash. It was that night that Deja heard the news that her parents were in a similar crash, and rushed to the hospital. It was here where Deja witnessed her mother die on the operating table after wandering into the viewing area of the surgery room. Her nanny, her only family, was unable to adopt the two chldren, Deja and her sister, and they were placed into new homes.
As Deja grew, her dreams became more and more frequent, and she would wake up at night, screaming in terror at the things she would see. Her new family, devout in their Catholic beliefs, hoped the Lord would relieve her of these nightmares, and enrolled her into a Catholic school for girls. Here, she became interested in art and dances, but kept to herself a lot. Everything seemed fine until two years after, when kids had begun to tease her in school, learning about her nightmares and predictions from her stepsister, who "just let things slip" occasionally. They called her the spawn of Satan and a demon child, telling her to crawl back to hell. This went on until she snapped, creating a blast of pent up energy. Of all the students and staff at the school, only 10% came back with their lives.
At age 12, Deja had the worst dream of all. It had her, fighting a war with the love of her life, with the destiny of the planet resting in the outcome of the battle. One side, for the hope and purity of the earth, to save it from the darkness, and would create world peace. The other, a nuclear battle ground, a world filled with turmoil and fear, where soon, no one would be left to see the morning sun kiss the horizon. Which side she was on... she didn't know.
Hoping for a way to learn more baout this premonition, she seeked the help of a mystic who taught her how to channel her abilities into more than just predictions, and soon she could control objects with her mind, just as the old lady had taught her. After the mystic passed on, she told Deja her own predictions; that Deja would meet her destined person shortly after leaving. Deja assumed this destined person would be the person that she would battle for the fate of the world.
Shortly after, she befriended a ghostly kitten named Kittany, who knew nothing more than pain, lonliness, and despair, and yet when Deja attempted to perform an exorscim, she still begged to be allowed to live, despite the pains of being unable to feel what all mortals do. Deja was intrigued by the idea of a ghost, held tight by a curse that kept her in the mortal world, and decided to befriend the cat. Kittany has since become her best friend, even though Deja would never admit it.
"I am here to fulfill my destiny... that is all."
Abilities:
Visions: When sleeping or in a dreamy state, Deja has the ability to see deep into the future or see echoes of the past. Most of the time, these are not done on purpose, but are accidentally read in her sleep. It may be noted that she only sees what will happen unless it is changed while her sister sees all possible outcomes of what could happen. Telekinesis: Can cause inanimate objects to move using the power of her thoughts. This is also not always done on purpose...
Soul Form: Her ultimate power form, which causes her white fur to turn black and black fur to turn orange; including her shoulder-length hair. Her dress is a raven black with orange spirals on it. Her ultimate form is not only powerful and strong, but strong and terrifying. This form is made by concentrating the magic energy within her soul. She cannot control her actions in this form, and she only uses when there are no other choices.
Genocide Blare: A rare and powerful attack that wipes out all forms of life that stood in the way. This is what caused the Catholic Massacre in her past. It is only activated when Deja is in serious stress, like when the kids at her school referred to her as “Satan’s Spawn.”
Mental Block: Her mind cannot be read or deciphered by anyone except herself and her twin sister.
Weaknesses:
1. Has low physical strength. Her spare time is put into understanding her powers and learning of her future.
2. Can’t stand to be compared in any way, shape, or form to Satan or anything of that type. That is what caused the first use of “Genocide Blare” which she still neither understands nor controls.
3. Can’t stand to see anyone get hurt when she knew she could’ve prevented it.
4. If she begins to feel close to someone, she will do everything in her power to quickly turn them away, and let them think what they want. She doesn't want them to see what she may do in the near future...
